The overall impression was very good and the staff was very friendly.
The room in generall was very nice and with a lot of space. However, the bathroom needs a renovation: especially regarding the bath tub which was practically broken.
One other thing which lead to some inconvenience was that the air conditioning did not work well. Allthough we put the regulator to the max. tempurature it was very cold (and as a consequence we felt quite unconformtable). The overall impression was very good and the staff was very friendly.

Good location
Best thing is still the location. Rooms are spacious but could be more modern. Internet is free only 20 min / day, before it used to be free 24h/day.

Excellent stay
I had to select an hotel more central than I usually stay. Golden Tulip Belas Artes website was very attractive and prices made me decide to book. Well an excellent surprise because rhotel is very nice as in the pictures and personal is very efficient and attentive to your requests.
Only negative point: I had registered for Golden Tulip fidelity programme but they didn't have a card to give to me (e-mail you receive when you register states you get your membership card during first stay). I Enjoy This Hotel
I have stayed at this property 6 times over the last 4 years and I am satisfied each time. The hotel does need some updating but I feel safe, the room is clean and bedding is ok. The staff is good and friendly. This will allows be my first choice in hotels when I come to Sao Paulo.

Poor performance
Internet Service: Even it is billed at a very high price, service is poor with very low signal quality
Bathroom: No ventilation
Broken closet
TV remote control did worked deficiently at arrival, later it was changed

From a Japanese customer's viewpoint
Customer service: (-) English skills at front desk when I checked in. The fact I was firstly assigned to room 910 which has badly peeled floor.
Hotel quality: (+) Specious room - Executive Room (-) Dimness in corridors and elevetor hall. Aged deterioration in wall and power outlets, bathroom (fungi on the wall, etc), elevetor (oscillated), celling of ground floor (water leakage), etc.
Food quality: (+) Good tastes at reasonable prices for dinner (-) few selection of hot meals (2-3 kinds) for buffet breakfast
Value of money: (+) Good accessibility to Av. Paulista, taxi stands and subway station.
Overall: I expected a newly opened hotel when I booked, however, it seems to be just "partially" renovated one. So pitty. Not enough. Customer service: (-) English skills at front desk when I checked in. The fact I was firstly assigned to room 910 which has badly peeled floor.

A atenção do pessoal do pessoal da recepção deixou bastante a desejar. Quando cheguei para fazer o check in, em torno das 13 horas, um dos recepcionistas me disse que não havia aptos disponíveis e que teria que aguardar até as 14 horas. Como tive que usar o computador, aguardei até um pouco e, quando fui deixar minhas malas para outro recepcionista perguntei se, por acaso, já não havia apto vazio. Esta recepcionista ligou para o pessoal para verificar (o que o outro recepcionista não havia feito) e, de fato, já havia apto disponível. Isto deixa bem evidente a má vontade do primeiro recepcionista.
Além disto. A condição do banheiro, com vazamentos, é bastante ruim. A atenção do pessoal do pessoal da recepção deixou bastante a desejar.
